| The 2nd Annual Furry Friend 5K is April 28th - posted February 10, 2012
The Humane Society of Bay County’s Board of Directors, Staff and Volunteers are gearing up for the second annual Furry Friend 5K. It will be held on Saturday April 28, 2012 at A.L. Kinsaul Park (Lynn Haven, FL) and will start at 7 a.m. (CST). HSBC has designated Sunday, April 29, 2012 as a rain date in the event of inclement weather on Saturday.
This will be a fun-filled event with a full (professionally-timed) 5K for all ages with/without your pet, pet adoptions, micro-chipping, and more.

| Humane Society of Bay County Has Relocted!!! - posted March 24, 2011
The Humane Society of Bay County will be relocating its current shelter and thrift store operations at 1048 West 23rd Street, Panama City to two separate locations. May 1, 2011, is the official move date on both locations. The location for the animals is the former Cedar Grove Animal Hospital at 2620 E. 15th Street across the road from Coin and Bullion Reserve. The vet facility is better suited to accommodate the needs of the animals and it will allow the HSBC to take in approximately 70 animals, double the capacity at the present location on 23rd Street.
