We are a local non-profit, 501(c)3 organization. We offer a no-kill facility in Bay County. Our primary goal is to

locate forever homes for companion animals through adoption.

We hope that you will support our mission - to place every animal we accept in a loving, lifetime home.The Humane Society of Bay County (HSBC) seeks to foster respect for life and to end the needless destruction of companion animals.

Hours of Operation: The shelter is currently closed Please visit us at our Thrift Store location where we have a selection of adorable animals looking for their new homes.

Our Thrift Store is located at 1048 W. 23rd Street in Panama City. It is at the intersection of 23rd Street and Airport Road. See below for directions to our facility.

Coming from the Callaway/Springfield/Cedar Grove area on Hwy. 98 (15th Street) head west. Turn right (north) on Hwy. 77/Cove/Martin Luther King Blvd. Turn left (west) on 23rd Street. As you pass People's First Community Bank on your right, the Thrift Store will be on your right.

Coming from Panama City or the Beach area Take Hwy 77 north to 23rd Street. Turn left (west) and then look for People's First Community Bank on your right. The Thrift Store will be immediatly after People's First on your right.
